About Mana

Ma-Nogoy “Mana” Faye is a New York–based journalist, digital strategist, and project manager with experience across media, fashion, technology, and music. She currently works at Jellabiya, a Dakar-based luxury modestwear brand for the modern woman, where she leads brand communications, digital strategy, and public relations initiatives spanning influencer partnerships, campaigns, and cultural activations.

 

Mana also serves as the Vice President of Digital for the New York Association of Black Journalists (NYABJ), where she oversees digital strategy, audience growth, and online engagement, helping amplify Black journalists’ voices, programming, and community impact across platforms.

 

Previously, Mana served as a Program Manager in Creative X at Meta, where she was selected from more than 5,000 applicants for the year-long Next Up Mentorship Program. In that role, she led strategic planning and execution of cross-platform creative campaigns, collaborating with producers, designers, art directors, copywriters, and cross-functional partners to deliver work across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Meta AI, and Reality Labs.

 

Prior to Meta, Mana worked as a CBS Page and News Associate at Paramount, supporting editorial, digital, and broadcast teams across CBS News, CBS Mornings, and CBS Evening News. Her work included breaking news verification, live broadcast coordination, and audience engagement at high-profile productions such as The Drew Barrymore Show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

 

She also brings experience from the music industry, having served as Sales & Streaming Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the EVP at Atlantic Records, where she supported go-to-market strategies for Tier 1 artists and collaborated with Sales, Streaming, Marketing, A&R, Analytics, and Creative teams on major releases and platform partnerships with Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and SoundCloud.

 

Mana is currently pursuing an MA in Journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, with a focus on arts, culture, and community-driven reporting. She holds a BA in Economics from Baruch College, with a minor in French.

 

She is a member of The Boyd Initiative, the National Association of Black Journalists, Grammy U, and ForbesBLK, and is fluent in English, French, and Wolof.
